Hello!
Welcome to Red’s Li’l Schoolhouse.
I’m Celeste, and I am so happy you’re here. My hope for this space is to be helpful, encouraging, and leave you feeling confident to tackle a new project. You are smart, brave, and do not have to go through anything alone! We will learn together.

I love to learn and practice home design, fashion, cooking, and gardening. Incorporating plants and flowers into design, both indoors and out, brings life and vibrancy to our spaces. I’m convinced plants are the answer to any home design challenge!
Shopping is definitely something I enjoy (sometimes a little too much!). Whether online, at Target, or my favorite antique stores, I love the search. You can see some of my recommended things here.
Country girl at heart, back to my roots.
After 16 years of city living, my family and I decided to take the plunge and move to the country. I am thoroughly enjoying the process of making this house our home by adding character and our personal touch, space by space. It has been quite an adventure. Yes, we have chickens. No, I do not like eggs. I know this does not make sense, it is what it is. 🙂

Sometimes, you just have to say “yes” and get the chickens!
You can often find me tinkering in my garden, watering plants, creating design mood boards, working on our latest home improvement project, making sure our children did their chores, or watering plants. If you can’t find me there, I’m likely watering plants. 🙂 Or browsing Pinterest! Follow along with me 🙂

I have always enjoyed collecting a lot of ideas and then sharing the best ideas with others. I absolutely love encouraging others to try new things. So much confidence can be built by the small choices we make every day. You never know how things will turn out if you don’t try!
My hope for this corner of the internet is to create a community of people who encourage one another, share ideas, inspiration, and leave plenty of room for laughter (and plants)! There is always room for another plant. Always.

So glad to find you here! Will enjoy your journey with you!
Thanks, Janine! I’m enjoying this new adventure.
